A single adult oyster can filter between 20 and 50 gallons of water everyday. They are critical

to cleaning the water and providing habitat and food for many species. 

Fresh Catch Seafood Grill participates in Florida Oceanographic's restoration project at the Coastal Center in Stuart, FL. When our customers order raw oysters, we save those shells, they are then collected, quarantined, bagged and deployed to create new oyster-shell reefs in the Indian River Lagoon and St. Lucie River estuaries. The oyster's progress is monitored using cutting-edge acoustic technology.
